Has anyone had their Escape Key and / or the Enter / Return keys ignored after displaying a ScriptUI based dialog?
It seems to happen to me about 1/3 of the time in CS3, but I don't recall it in CS4. Jon Mac OS 10.5.8 |

Steven,
Ah, yes, I forgot that. It happens in a modal dialog with OK and Cancel buttons. I've tried changing the properties for the dialog's: .defaultElement .cancelElement thinking that the automatic setting of those things was getting in the way. But that didn't help. And I've got a Mac OS based site that on occasion complains of this same issue where the return / enter key and the escape key stops working after using a ScriptUI based dialog in Adobe InDesign CS3. They found that they can close the active document and reopen it and the keys come back to life. Jon |
